テレビに限ります。それもpublic accessチャンネル。公営らしいのですが、視聴者が勝手に番組を作って納品し、放映するというもの。ローカル局ですな。日本だと農村の語らいとかになるのでしょうが、入浴だと自己主張が主なエネルギー源。下らなくて結構、笑えます。

朝5:49分現在放映中なのが、なにこれ、地下鉄を舞台にしたファントム・オブ・ザ・オペラ調のスペクタクル？このおっさん、ビースティーのアルフレードに似てるな。と、思ったら全然違った。

あとはカントリーのダンス大会の番組も結構楽しいのですが、只今の時間、放映していない様子です。

入浴中です。
あー、起きてもうた..............................
４時なのですが。外は雪。うーん..................

新鮮さは見事にない。疲れ切ってるのに道とか平気で歩いてるし。メキシカンはうまいけど。
バウアーもオーストラリア時間で生きてるし。会っても「おう、ナポレオン。ズボンましになったな。ところで物件見つけないといけないんだが......」という具合でいつも通り。早速一時間ほど街を徘徊。東京で言うと町一つの中の範囲で無茶苦茶条件いいものをみつけようとしてるんだから、おっさん無理やろぉ、と思うのが私の指向性で、あいつはいや、何か絶対ある、と考える。でも、詰めが甘いから、尻拭い役は俺かぁ？暖房効いてもらいたいな、今度は。

Update: 今気づいたが、４時って日本時間やん..........ということは２時に起きた？おめでとう、時差ぼけ新記録達成！２時間で目覚めました！さっきスーパーで買い物をしましたが、お茶と豆乳を見事に忘れた。２０ドルの損だなぁ........歳かなぁ、これ。仕方ないからストロベリー・ジュースでシリアル食いましたが、中々個性的な味で。

今回、はじめて入国審査で指紋と角膜の写真を撮られました。意外とあっさりというか、角膜写真に使ってるカメラとか周辺機器はただのパソコン系。あれは絶対解像度高く無さそう。ということは頭いい人はそれを逆手に取るんだろうな..........僕は左手の人差し指に指紋が無いので、中指を採取されました。

あと、ユナイテッドの機内食はベジタリアン用を勧めます。通常のより全然食えるし、身体の負担も軽減。

しっかし、運動でもするか。ジューダス・プリーストは機内で飽きてもうた

朝５時の入浴、幅広通りの３４丁目です。ミッドタウンに泊まるとつまんねぇ.............！！！！！！！！！！

I've flown since the age of 5 and I lost track of how many times. Still hate flying. It's sheer torture. I don't care if it's first class, it's still torture. The technology is just over a hundred years old. I understand the principles and mechanics behind aviation and people often regard me as some kind of mechanical geek, but at the end of the day, I do not trust technology, damn, I don't even like computers, it's a double sided sword. Machines don't tell you the truth. Mind you, I'm not scared of planes crashing and death, that's inevitable and whatever happens, happens. I just don't like the whole experience of flying. I feel like some farm animal waiting and waiting.

I'm a fucking wreck, I need to be sedated.

Judas Priest: ベスト盤。どうでもいいんですが。おかまメタル。本当はアイアン・メイデン希望でしたが、適切なベスト盤が無いため、プリーストで妥協。

Update: さっき聞いたらリフの感じが初期モトリー・クルーに似ていて笑えた。模倣から始まるのね、皆さん.........

The Who: ベスト盤。前のを紛失しているため。最近多いんだよなぁ、ジャケットはあるんだけど中身が無いってのが..........ボケかしらん。違うな、いい加減なだけだ。

Update: これは内容をよく知っているので驚きなし

Dave Edmunds: ベスト盤。これは初買い。子供の頃の記憶では曲がいいんだぁ。地味な感じもいいし。プロデューサーがジェフ・リンなのね。知らんかったぁ。

Update: 頭の中で幻想を抱いていたみたいです...........

他には極めてゲットーなヒップ・ホップが欲しかったのですが、忍耐負けで購入せず。また黒いのを聞き出そうかな。最近までレコード屋が嫌いだったのですが、また好き気味な感じ。

しかし、守りで□◆◇■な音楽ばかりだなぁ、これじゃぁあかん。気分的には当時から苦手であった、西海岸ハードコアとか、中西部パンクかしらん............あとはカントリーだな。

夜はSDLXで適当に話してました。飯は定価払ってるのに自分で作るという、よくわからない客です。ヤダさんが酔っぱらいまくりでかなり愉快だったなぁ。ヤダさんとMTV勤務という女性の人と日本酒のつまみについて盛り上がり。ウズラの卵の薫製がいいらしいです。コンビニで１２０円とか。下戸の私は酔っぱらっていくその様相について講習を受けました。ヤダ・スペシャル泡盛を一滴舐めましたが、私の身体は反応していた。掛川君とは布袋さんの新ビデオのからくりについて教えてもらいーの。生西君はキリヒトについて相談受けーの。ケント君送ってくれてありがとう。

Bought this double album of work done by the producer Trevor Horn, out on ZTT, got it at Tower Shibuya. I never liked his style, but held respect for his work. Man, he's through. Horn, Thomas Baker, what's his name that did Pyromania, AC/DC, etc, they all have the same kind of through discipline.

Also got a freebie of the new Mars Volta. Man, they can fucking play. The album is really well balanced. Omar is pretty focused, the band are good blokes, it was hilarious watching Omar buy 3 synths an hour before we head for the friggin' Narita.

先日、Zak氏のスタジオで作業をしました。大きいスタジオなんだけど友人宅ということもあり、散らかしてすみません。僕は風邪で熱が出ていたのでムーミンとSNL(Andy Kaufmanはやばいっすねぇ）のDVDを観ながら文句垂れてただけですが。Standing in the shadows of Motownは見損ねたので、ニューヨークで観るか。

完全ヴィーガンのZak氏に合わせて飯は江古田のイスラエル料理か、あれは？とにかくファラフェル弁当をテイク・アウト。ニューヨークなどではたまに食いますが、江古田の店も結構美味でした。お陰で腸が活発になり、スタジオを出た朝四時頃には風邪もかなり収まり。

私も現在なんちゃってヴィーガンですが、調子はいいあるよ。コーヒーもやめてるし。コーヒーやめるとあのフリーキーな感じ少なくなるわん。でも、ニューヨークでは絶対ピザ食うし、ハンバーガーも食ってしまいます。一回ずつでいいけど。ピザはave Aのなんだっけ、有名なところ、ハンバーガーはウェスト・サイドのコーナー・ビストロがお勧め。中華はHoustonとカナルの間のなんだっけにある粥館がええですわ。和食は蕎麦屋。定食屋できると幸せだなぁ。ヴィーガンは9thと3rd aveだっけなぁのアンジェリカとその近くの黒い店がええなぁ。

関係ないが、青山のユニバーサルの目の前にあるインド料理、サムラートのカレーはうまいがちょっと塩多すぎないかぁ？

終わってはいないんだな、これが。だから極寒入浴行き。やるで、マスタリング。と言っても、僕の作業は最初の３時間が勝負だな。大人らしい、サイレントな形で出るのかなぁ？売れるといいな。昔と違って全然見えるからどうでもいいけど。これって経験ってやつかい？キャー。音を聞くと当時の様子を思い出し、確かに若かったと思う。

フィッシュマンズにはお世話になりました。ここからバッファロー、そしてその他と世界が広がり。あの後は挫折もありましたが、最近は段々と感じも掴めてきたし。
あなた方のおかげでミュージシャンは信用できん、ということを何万人の前か忘れたけど（蟻にしか見えん）ステージ上で真摯に学ばせて頂きました。野音でやっと慣れたのにぃ。あー、足震えて怖かったぁ。それもかれこれ十年前。皆様にまた近日中にお会いできたら楽しいっす。

どうでもいいけど、世間の勘違いは立腹することもございます。
