this is the reason i nearly fainted 10 days ago
i would be behind the guitar player, stage left. thinking "2 more shows, 2 more shows, you can't faint now, not till i'm back in the hotel, what's for dinner, what time do i have to be up at tomorrow? i need a splxxx".......... you won't see me on the footage, if you did, that would be BIG trouble. friday night, national tv, live broadcast, full live performance. what made the whole ride more rollercoaster was that there was a mechanical fuck up, about 2 minutes before on air. i was verbally abused by the assistant director (since i was the closest english speaking guy near the band at that time), and they had to insert a commercial break....... the thought of blowing such a tv show still crosses my mind, i'd like to do it one day................
