you need real effort, carried by real talent to get somewhere. especially if you want to keep your job for a long time.
this one is like a babe fest for me, since it is fender telecaster galore. i think tele's are the ultimate electric guitar. so simple, yet, i the right hands, the most expressive. dylan's black 50's tele is RARE. they sound more in your face, no, that's not the right term, more grounded than stratocasters. strats are nice, i have a couple, but when you hold a tele, it hits you harder.
i just noticed. you hardly see any red drapes/backdrops anymore. at least not in tokyo. they're all black. hmm........
i remember this as a child, thinking "why is the bloke so dark????". i saw him play tokyo in 86, 87? sometime during high school. it was quite memorable, he had an interpreter on stage before songs, the interpreter would translate the content of his lyrics. it was time consuming and disrupted the flow of the show, but looking back at it, it made his lyrics resonate more in a foreign land.

ok, i abused you, i am sorry. but what with storage memory being so cheap nowadays, i thought you could handle my desire to "favourite" a lot of stuff. however, the tube says i can't add anymore, because i have reached the maximum number of favourites. dude, come on. dude, come on.
i forget these things, so once inspiration hits ex. "ah today i feel heavy metal" or some song comes up in conversation, i look it up. i got to, i got to have it, i got to look it up.
my favourite count is at 1256 at the moment. i deleted at least 20 or so the other day, thinking i can add more. nope. youtube, come on.

in other news, i am not feeling well. i am stuck in sickness, it has been a while since i have been this sick. i've only gone out three times this year, the rest have been spent in my too familiar room reading, not having enough energy to think through an idea, reading more, mucking about on the net and sleeping, three hours at a time. i guess i need to go to a doctor today, my asthma is back, for the first time in maybe 5 years. i need to go and see a show tonight or tomorrow night, so i better fix myself up a bit.
otherwise, i am excited to be westbound.
